We are fortunate to have a large leadership team, made up of both adult leaders and young leaders. We are also lucky enough to have adults from other sections that come to help us out from time to time.
All of our Cub leaders are named after characters in Rudyard Kipling's, The Jungle Book. (Click on the link for The Jungle Book Stories.)
Cub leaders get their names for Rudyard Kipling's, TheĀ Jungle Book. Lord Baden-Powell started Scouting in 1907, for boys, with the first experimental camp held on Brownsea Island in Dorset. Realising that there needed to be a provision for younger boys, Baden-Powell, who was friends with Rudyard Kipling, created Wolf Cubs, based on the Seeonee wolf pack from The Jungle Book, with the Leaders taking their names from the other characters.
