Who we are.
We are Cubs based in Gorleston, (Great Yarmouth) and meet once a week on a Monday evening from 6.45-8.15pm, during term time. We are a very active Cub Pack with 30 plus Cubs and lots of leaders and young leaders.
Sections of 1st Gorleston Scout Group are:
Squirrels - ages 4-6
Beavers - ages 6-8
Cubs - ages 8-10.5
Scouts - ages 10.5 -14

Subs & membership.
Subs, of £3.50, are due every week.
The yearly membership fee is due around the end of January/start of February. We collect this either as a lump sum or as installments throughout the year instead of paying the membership fee in full.
Six of the Term
Every term, the sixes compete for Six of the Term by gaining points at weekly meetings, outings or events.
Our current winners of Six of the Term are:
Orange Six
Well done to all in Orange who earnt points this term.
A big congratulations to the other sixes, who have also worked hard all term.
THANK YOU
We are now officially Koala Protectors.
A big thank you to all of those that completed the Koala Protector sheets. The money you raised will go towards re-building koala habitats that were lost in the Australian bushfires.
Snowy
We have proudly adopted a snow leopard through the WWF, the Cubs decided that his name would be Snowy.
Points
The points have been reset ready for the new term, as always the six with the most points will win Six of the Term and will receive their prize at the end of term.
