The Cub Scout uniform consists of a green sweatshirt and navy activity trousers; a green polo shirt is also available. As a group, we do not expect you to buy the polo shirt or trousers, although you may if you wish. When you are invested you will be presented with your neckerchief and woggle.
When you first start Cubs, we suggest that you come along in comfortable clothes, with suitable shoes for running around in. You will need to buy your Cub sweatshirt and necker before you can be invested as a Cub.
On a Monday evening, all Cubs that are invested, must wear their Cub jumper and their necker - unless stated otherwise. During the summer, the Cubs can wear a t-shirt but must bring their jumper for flag break and flag down, at the start and the end of the evening. Alternatively, the cubs can wear their pack t-shirt during the summer with their necker.
For parades and church services, such as Remembrance Sunday, we ask that the Cubs wear smart uniform. Smart uniform is their Cub sweatshirt, with all badges sewn on, an ironed and rolled necker - with coloured six woggle, school uniform trousers or skirt and school shoes.
The necker can be bought from the group for £5, you can pay at Cubs before you are invested.
The Cub sweatshirt can be bought the Trading Post in Norwich (driveway beside 2 Rowington Road) or online from the Scout Store.
